Miami Theater Center presents DNM’s Program II featuring Tribe, My Body/My Voice and an encore presentation of the Waldstein Sonata

Dance NOW!’s second major concert of the season features three world premieres. “Tribe,” from Co-Director Diego Salterini, is a full company work on the subject of finding ones place in a community, “My Body/My Voice,” from Hannah Baumgarten, addresses relationships and aging as a choreographer and a human, featuring Baumgarten’s return to the stage after nearly a decade. The New Voices initiative brings emerging contemporary choreographers to DNM’s audiences and will feature a new work from dancers Renee Roberts and Anthony Velazquez called “Lost and Found.” This performance will also include an encore presentation of José Limón/Daniel Lewis’ “The Waldstein Sonata” in anticipation of Dance NOW!’s tour to New York to perform with the Limón Company in May of 2023.
