Sanctuary of the Arts presents Dance NOW! Miami celebrating the first anniversary of Coral Gables’ newest performance space. Florida’s premiere contemporary dance company will present “Anusim, what is Hidden is never lost,” based on the story of the Jews of Portugal during the Inquisition, “Tribe,” a journey of self-discovery to find the place and the people where one belongs, with live music and original score from Federico Bonacossa, and a encore presentation of “The Waldstien Sonata,” José Limón’s final work, completed after his death by D. Daniel Lewis, played by Dr. Jeffrey Hodgson. This evening of modern dance will enthrall and entertain dance and music lovers alike!
