Tabitha Gale Fazzino, Ed.S., is a visionary senior executive and community leader with a three-decade career defined by her work at the intersection of public policy, strategic management, and community engagement. Her leadership has been grounded in the belief that meaningful, lasting change is born from a genuine commitment to public service and collaborative action.
Serving under seven superintendents at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Tabitha has been deeply invested in advocating for excellence in public education, adequate funding, accountability, and transparency. As a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet, including her roles as MDCPS’ chief lobbyist and leader of community engagement efforts, she consistently built powerful partnerships across government, corporate, and philanthropic sectors, all with the goal of creating a more equitable future and aligning community resources with the needs of students.
Known as a master communicator and strategist, Tabitha has had the honor of leading various professional groups, including serving as President of the Florida Education Legislative Liaisons. Her expertise is built upon a strong academic foundation as she holds graduate degrees in Educational Leadership, Public Administration, and Urban & Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University and Florida State University. She is energized by tackling complex challenges and remains committed to advocating for policies that serve the public good.
